  • Don’t use repetition in writing
  • Create two parallel stories
  • Build up each story and switch at the climax
  • Use action lines to set the tone and pace
  • Treat the scene like a funnel (Start with subject end with the point
  • Subplot character (Character forwards protagonist through similar experiences)
  • Use present tense
  • Three C’s (Clear, concise creative) in description and dialogue
  • Make everything meaningful to the character or story
